Sam worked as a mining and exploration geologist for 6 years prior to moving into finance. Over the last 11 years he’s won national awards for stock picking and earnings accuracy, with a recent highlight being part of Perennial team which was awarded the Zenith Small Cap Manager of the year in 2018 and the Money Management Small Cap manager of the year in 2019.

Bellevue Gold ( ASX : BGL ) are advancing their exceptionally high grade resource at the historic Bellevue Gold Mine 30km North of Leinster, the application of modern exploration and development techniques have enabled this experienced management team to deliver continual significant exploration results, with multiple new high grade gold lodes discovered already with 1.8 Million oz so far defined. Breaker Resources (ASX:BRB) is focused on a rare greenfields gold discovery in a Tier 1 location, 100km east of Kalgoorlie Western Australia, where a major drill program is underway to grow the 1Moz Resource. The discovery has yieldedsome of the best drill hits in the last 2 years, such as 25m @ 18.53g/t from 52m, 7m @ 61.78g/t from 59m and 19m @ 17.18g/t from 59m.
After 240,000m of mainly shallow drilling, the deposit remains open in all directions, and is similar in style to the well-known dolerite-hosted Golden Mile, St Ives and Paddington deposits.
